Marc Herstein, founder and native Park Slope Brooklynite, brings over 10 years of event production and hosting experience to Legendary Mitzvahs. Marc was once a highly sought after hip hop producer and MC who toured the world, topped the billboard charts, and was featured in Rolling Stone Magazine. Marc was also the premier MC for the world renowned family dance craze Baby Loves Disco. He has hosted hundreds of family events in over 50 cities across the United States.

Michael Palms (DJ Mikey Palms), partner, has earned recognition as the owner of two major music venues: Southpaw & Public Assembly (1999 — 2012), as well as consultant and producer for many indoor and outdoor events in the five boroughs.  Under his management, the Brooklyn venue Southpaw became a worldwide icon for New York's music scene. There he wore various hats while running the business including publicity, branding, marketing, programming, and event production.
